IQ Option – Trading Platform experienced a decrease in downloads, starting at 178K in the last week of September and dropping to 115K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users also saw a downward trend from 1M to 870K.
XP Investimentos, native to Brazil, showed fluctuations in downloads with a notable peak at 56K in the final week of December. Its weekly active users increased towards the end of the quarter, from 550K to 654K.
Investing.com's app, Investing.com: Stock Market, had modest revenue figures ranging from $163 to $618 per week, with downloads hovering around 12K at the start and end of the quarter. Active users maintained a level just above 200K for most of the quarter.
The cryptocurrency app, MB | Mercado Bitcoin: criptos, saw a significant increase in downloads from 3K to 17K, and its active users grew from 165K to 227K by the year's end.
Lastly, MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks had a spike in downloads mid-October at 14K but otherwise remained below 7K for the rest of the quarter. Its weekly active users showed a slight decline from 41K to 37K.
